Glenn Hendrick is a San Juan Island based artist working primarily in printmaking, painting, drawing, ceramics, and textiles. Born in Los Angeles and raised in Columbus, Ohio, Glenn received a degree in printmaking, painting, and drawing from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2006. Glenn moved to San Juan Island in 2013, and co-founded Alchemy Art Center in 2018 where she is currently Co-Director.

Glenn works across a variety of media, weaving direct observation with a rich vocabulary of personal symbolism. Plants, creatures, and people inhabit environments that are both entrancing and threatening. Landscapes are distilled into elemental shapes, bridging waking reality, memory, and dreams. Her art has been featured in group and solo shows, and published on album covers and event posters. You can also catch her backing John Bellows music with flute, vocals, bass, and drums.
