“Primarily a rug weaver, I find inspiration in the natural beauty of the islands, the textures and colors of materials, and in the properties of weaving. I try to merge the analytical with the abstract, try to create movement in what is inherently a static form. Sometimes a vision or image drives my work, other times, it is mere exploration of colors and patterns.”
