“ knowing Nature is knowing love. ”

Nature Artist, Pamela Hoke, is best known for her potent, magnified paintings and drawings of moments within the natural world. Pam expresses her love for nature through deep crevasses and contrasts, and determined, yet free spirited, flowing strokes. Whether she is drawing by pen, painting with watercolors, oils, or acrylics, she pours her love for nature as her ultimate life source, her playful, loving muse, into each stroke. Her adventurous spirit transcends into her unconventional techniques regarding color, composition of subjects, and her use of her tools and mediums. Her zesty spirit and risk-taking in both art, subsequently leads her viewers into a brief reprieve from the stress of modern times through colorful, moving, and loving expressions of nature. Her portrayals of natural beings and natural moments are her way of creating a path to direct sensory experience and communication with nature’s love and wisdom. Her recent medium shift has been toward mixing her own paints with Natural Earth Pigments, creating her next phase of development as an artist.
