Keith will be a guest at Ann Walberts Studio this yearKeith has been designing unique handcrafted furniture and home decor for the past nine years. As a lifelong environmentalist, amateur naturalist and gardener, he’s always been drawn to the natural world. Three years ago he moved to San Juan Island and resumed his passion for fashioning functional art furnishings out of his secluded workshop nestled between forest and garden. Today the shop is nearly surrounded by twisted and forked raw materials awaiting some whimsical design yet born. Several visitors have taken him up on his offer to pick out the wood they’d like in their custom piece. They’ve waded through birch, dogwood, locust, oak, madrona, apple, walnut, hazelnut and holly woods in search of the forms that fulfilled their vision. Visitors on this year’s tour will have the same opportunity. /td> | |
