My Pastels include landscapes, animals, and people. The medium is amazing, the results beautiful. Pastels have been my passion for 15 years, and continues to challenge and excite me. I have, however; discovered a new passion this last year. I have been doing painted furniture. My pieces of furniture are unique. I like to refer to them as “reclaimed” because they all have seen better days before coming to my studio. When I get a piece of furniture, I let the creative process unfold until the piece “speaks” to me. Sometimes all it needs is jazzing up, other times, it becomes something completely different. It is quite exciting to see what emerges. whether it's to see my more formal fine art Pastels, or my fun and funky furniture, I hope you come by to see me. I would love to meet you and share my joy in the art process. |
